Are you looking to get out on the town this weekend and maybe do a little ‘trick’r'treating‘? Then get yourself to the Halloween Ball at the Boyce Farmer’s Market on Saturday night – the fun kicks off at 8:30pm. They’ll be giving away a prize for Best Costume so don’t be afraid to pull out all the stops! and don’t forget your dancing shoes because Pretty in Pink (That80sband) will be performing all your classic favourites and you will not be able to stand still! This band is super high energy and they always dress to kill!
Also important to note that Pretty in Pink will not be playing the New Year’s Eve ball this year so you’d best get your fix while you can.
After your scary good weekend you should consider spending October 31st at the Cedar Tree Cafe where Les Hay Babies will fill the night with beautiful harmonies. “Les Hay Babies craft a colorful folky music filled with sensibility and modernity. The young women, from little New Brunswick villages will carry you into their world with the warmth of their harmonies. They create moving melodies with only a guitar, a banjo and a ukulele. Even though the band has been created less than a year ago, they already have a name for themselves.” No cover – pay what you can – starts at 8:00pm!
Here they are playing a tune at Pickerel Pond Nature Preserve as part of the Nature Sessions in association with Nature Trust of New Brunswick.
How do you like to celebrate Halloween? Will you be wearing a costume? Drop us a line and/or pictures. We’d love to hear from you!
